To halt this blind expansion of those who cannot tolerate any difference of opinion, and to protect our collective future, rising against this destructive system and radically transforming it is the greatest demand of our time.
Bangladesh does not need another generation that merely knows how to speak about religion, culture, patriotism, or morality. Perhaps we need a generation that knows how to live them. And perhaps that is where the real Bangladesh begins.
We owe our daughters, sons and every future generation something better than inherited shame. We owe them safety. We owe them dignity. Let silence end where abuse begins, on our screens and in our streets; through words that challenge, actions that protect, and a resolve that no longer looks away.
