The purpose of this article is not to belittle BNP’s victory in the 2026 election. The purpose is to peel the layers of statistics to get to the ground truth and what we can infer from them with reasonable confidence.
At the very least, the people of Bangladesh should be able to keep the criminal, the corrupt, and the compromised from running in the upcoming elections
We have still to define a national identity for Bangladesh, and we need a national dialogue on the matter or we will remain a fractured people.
In this era of internet and social media, people are not allowed to forget. Every information, every statement, every image lives forever. When we were given a rare opportunity for a new Bangladesh, people will remember who were for them, against them, and who betrayed them.
